Looking down into the ravine.
Can't say where.... but it's at the bottom of a ravine.
Oh, I wish I could have climbed up there.... this is with 200mm lens.... so it's actually quite distant from me, and through some thick thick brush and steep steep ravine.

View of the Lake Del Valle. It's overcast, with the feel of rain in the air.... it's cool today, and the trail holds it's magical mystery, quiet, peaceful, perennial.
Looking into the ravine from Black Sage Trail, from the area where all the sagebrush borders the trail. Pine trees are not common, so it's always a pleasure when they make a rare appearance on local trails.
Bottom of the ravine on Black Sage Trail. There's usually water down here for the dogs, and when we get to the bottom, they run for it. Then it's up up up the switchbacks to the top again.
Black Sage Trail.... Del Valle Road upper left; trail through sagebrush is red line in foreground.
Standing on Black Sage trail, looking across campgrounds and 3m Cattle Company to Ohlone ridgeline.
